The National Weather Service's tornado warning has ended, and an NWS meteorologist said about 8:30 that the "worst id over." According to emergency radio traffic, at least two tornadoes were spotted touching down.

Need I remind anyone that 2009 is a reassessment year for Stewart County residents? The Stewart County Assessor of Property has admitted on several different occasions that there are clerical errors in these assessments and that some of the assessments are wrong, but little has been done to correct these wrongs.
